Week 3
Day 1

Monday - The Lord is my rock, my fortress, and my savior; my God is my rock in whom I find protection. He is my shield, the strength of my salvation, and my stronghold. - Psalms 18:2 NLT

Reflect:What does a rock, fortress and shield symbolize in this verse (see other side of card)? What is the connection to salvation? Who do you look to for hope?

Pray; Father, help me to seek you when I need to be protected. Help me rely on you in every situation.

Day 2
Tuesday - “Praise the name of God forever and ever, for he alone has all wisdom and power.” - Daniel 2:20  NLT

Reflect: When Daniel was facing death he sought God to give him the answers he needed. Do we seek God for His wisdom in our situations?  If not, then start today by praying and asking him to show you what he would have you to do.

Pray: Father, help me to realize all wisdom and power comes from you. I praise your name for answering my prayers.

Day 3
Wednesday - …to open their eyes and turn them from darkness to light, and from the power of Satan to God.  Then they will receive forgiveness for their sins and be given a place among God’s people, who are set apart by faith in me. - Acts 26:18  NLT

Reflect:We need to remember as believers we once walked in darkness but now walk in the light. Someone shared the good news with us and we should do the same for someone else. Who is it God is asking you to talk to?

Pray: Father, show me who you would like me to share the gospel with. Give me the words and courage to speak.

Day 4
Thursday - “Yes, I am the vine; you are the branches. Those who remain in me, and I in them, will produce much fruit. For apart from me you can do nothing.” - John 15:5  NLT

Reflect: It’s important to remember without Christ we cannot bear fruit. The fruit of the spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, and self-control. Are you seeing these qualities in your life?

Pray: Father, I desire to have these qualities in my life. Help me to love you first and allow the holy spirit to control my life.

Day 5
Friday- Don’t copy the behavior and customs of this world, but let God transform you into a new person by changing the way you think.  Then you will know what God wants you to do, and you will know how good and pleasing and perfect his will really is. - Romans 12:2  NLT

Reflect: The wisdom of this world leads to a “Me First” life.  God calls us to a new life. Our minds are renewed by reading God’s word and listening to the promptings of the holy spirit.

Pray: Father, show me the areas that I’m conforming to this world instead of being transformed by you.
